Artifact 1: Teaching Videos Reflection
This document is an observation journal I used to keep track of my thoughts while viewing two videos of music educators teaching their classes. I have learned from these videos what it looks like to create classroom environments that support individual and collaborative learning. The teachers in the videos also exemplified positive social interaction with, active engagement in learning with, and fostering self-motivation in their students. Through my teaching internship, I have had a first hand experience with implementing the strategies used by the teachers in these videos. I have learned how to build rapport with students to have positive social interactions with them and how to manage a classroom to foster respect between students and myself.

Artifact 2: My Classroom Management Ideas
This document is a collection of ideas I have about classroom management. The image I drew is a concept for a general music classroom that I came up with. This plan creates an organized environment for learning that will make my class sessions more efficient. I have implemented many of these strategies in my teaching internship and they have been successful. Particularly the disciplinary action and the teacher-student relationship strategies have been useful in maintaining a healthy classroom environment. I have learned to honor students' feelings while commanding an authority of productivity and respect by learning students interests, establishing mutual boundaries/expectations, and using a calm disposition when disciplining students.
Artifact 3: Teaching Video
This artifact is a video of me teaching a band class during my middle school teaching internship. I included this video because it demonstrates my ability to create a positive learning environment for all students. This positively impacted the students by providing an environment where students feel they can ask and answer questions freely, make mistakes and learn from them, and practice challenging music as a group.
