Artifact 1: Imaginary Concert Program
This artifact is a concert program for an imaginary beginning band and orchestra concert. I selected music that would be appropriate for younger players as well as being interesting and enjoyable for the students and the audience. I also did research on the history of each of the pieces and their composers. Having to come up with brief descriptions of these pieces has positively impacted the students of my elementary teaching internship because I had to do many verbal descriptions of new pieces to them. I needed to make my descriptions succinct and enticing to save time and motivate the students to work hard on the music.
Artifact 2: Three Lesson Plans

I included this artifact because it shows I can apply multiple different lesson materials that all focus on the same concept. The students in my band teaching internship were provided with multiple means for practicing their time-keeping. When teaching these lessons on time-keeping, I applied the same skills I used to make the lessons in this artifact.
Artifact 3: Middle School Band Rehearsal Plan
This artifact is a brief rehearsal plan going over my instructional procedures for the piece Thrill Ride by Brian Balmages. I included this artifact because it shows a lesson I taught to actual students during my teaching internship. I incorporated rehearsal techniques that align with the objective and are attainable for the students I was working with. My students benefitted from this because they were challenged to work on something they individually struggle with while still reaching for a colloquial goal that is within their reach,
